Scrim
Plug-In 1.0 Scrim is an adaptive geometry generation plug-in for the Electric Image Animation System. It is designed to scan its child entities (provided by Trestle, Path2line, Revolver, or Wiremaker) and loft a surface between its children. Each independent child can be scaled, rotated, or translated and the Scrim surface will be updated immediately. Scrim's children can possess their own deformation structure for further animation capabilities. |
| Features: • Mulitple lofting modes: · "by indices" - Point to point mode. · "by positions" - For working with arbitrary cross-sections. · "by UV's" - Creates lofts using UV coordinates splines in U (basic cross-section) direction and in the V (between cross-sections) direction. Scrim can also perform uniformed and/or adaptive tesselation of the created surface. • Custom scales (U/V) that are typically more useful than standard scales. • Processing of "loft arrays" or multiple lofts. In this mode the plug-in builds multiple surfaces for each child group contained within the multiple cross-sections. |
